The cover absorbs the impact of the apparatus hitting the top of a cave or a part of a shipwreck, without any damage occurring to the head of the apparatus. The inner side of the cover is made from a polished metal plate, which reflects some of the light coming from the buddy display to the back, thus making it better visible during the cave-like swimming in a row.
